What is 'Pay Per Click'?

Pay-Per-Click (PPC) is performance based advertising. Advertisers pay when a user clicks on their ad and is taken to the destination URL.


Advertisers control how much each click will cost by choosing a rank within a numbered series of listings for a topic.

What is "type-in traffic"?

"Type-in traffic" is a form of direct navigation whereby users enter a keyword or phrase, followed by a domain extension (typically .COM), via the web browser's address bar to arrive at a website.

How does ROAR advertising work?

An advertisement takes the form of a Website Listing, consisting of a title, description and URL. The Website Listing is then listed under a relevant topic and ranked according to the advertiser's bid price. The higher the bid, the higher the rank and ad visibility.

What does it cost to advertise with ROAR?

The minimum advertiser account deposit is US$25. The advertiser then specifies their spend (bid) for each topic.


Bids on topics start from US$0.01 per click.

How do I become a ROAR advertiser?

Step 1: Contact ROAR to setup an account.


Step 2: Create a Website Listing in your account, consisting of a title, description and URL.


Step 3: Select the topic and set your bid price to determine your ad ranking.


It's that simple! Your ad will then be displayed across the ROAR network, and you will only be charged each time a visitor clicks on your listing and visits your website.
